Date Night

I went on a date tonight...
a Daddy-Daughter date.
Those are the best kind of dates.

I treasure these special times that I'm able to spend with my dad, just him & I.
Not many girls can say that their dad's ask them on dates,
but I can. My sisters and I are three lucky girls.

On our date tonight, we ate at one of my favorite restaurants called Pita Jungle.
We ate my favorite, thin mint frozen yogurt.
We searched for a Mother's Day present for mom,
but ended up finding a little something for me instead, a very pretty dress!

Going on special date nights like this has blessed me tremendously.
My dad has found ways to spend time with me and that has been a blessing to me.
We talk, about life, about my hopes, dreams, and goals.
Through dad's example, I have found qualities that I want in a future spouse,
And through his love and tenderness, dad shows me that I am a daughter of God.
