I was called to be in charge of the ward's christmas party for FHE along with three other people. After lots of ideas, we decided to make gingerbread houses. We went to Broulim's the day of the activity and had a party. Three cart fulls later we had 27 boxes of graham crackers, 100 different packets of candy, 9 liters of soda, hot chocolate mixes, and frosting ingredients. Our budget was unlimited. Needless to say, we spent just about $500. The poor, poor cashier that had to ring us up...
That night at our ward party, we ate Craigo's pizza, drank hot chocolate catered by the Crossroads, and made epic gingerbread houses. My FHE group and I made this legit trainstation. We were so shocked it didn't win.
What a successful ward activity! I have the best ward and I'm sad that the semester is coming to an end so soon when we are finally all just getting to know eachother.
