BYU-Idaho...I'M HERE!

It just hit me that I am actually HERE! I have been here at Brigham Young University-Idaho for one week now, and I am LOVING it. Words can't really express how I feel right now. I am just so grateful for this wonderful, amazing opportunity to go to school where I can feel the spirit 24/7. What an amazing feeling that is. It has been my dream my entire life to attend a church school and my dream has finally come true. The campus is beautiful, the people are so nice, I LOVE my roommates, my ward is great, the boys are cute, the professors want you to succeed, and the weather is gorgeous (right now at least).

Only at BYU-I:
*Do you see "Families are Forever" or "CTR" or "BYU-I girl" bumper stickers on cars.
*Do you have firesides every Tuesday by a leader of our church.
*Get asked out on 4 dates in one week! :)
*Get random guys asking for you number and picking up on you at the gym or on the street.
*See pregnant girls with their husbands walking around campus, or see girls pushing strollers around campus.
*Only at BYU-I do you have to watch an hour long Elder Bednar talk for homework.
*Do you say prayer before each class beings.
*Do your professors relate things to the gospel in class. (love it!)
*Do you have a strict dress code for working out and regular attire. I am actually starting to like working out in big baggy basketball shorts and an oversized tshirt.
*Do you have good looking FHE brothers. ;)
*Is it impossible to go to bed at a decent hour.
*Is there a temple right acoss the street from campus.

I have found it very difficult to manage my time here in Idaho. There are not enough hours in the day! There is always something fun going on and there are always people to meet.

I love my roommates Millie, Emily, Sarah, Daniella, and Lindsey & I love living in Birch Plaza. Each one of my roommates are so different, but so similiar to one another. I love living in a houseful of girls. Lots of laughing, lots of talking, lots of late nights, lots of fun, lots of boys stopping by to say hey.

I feel like it is such a blessing to be here. We've had 3 firesides already in the I-center & with each fireside have learned so much. They really stress it to all of us students that we are meant to be here. For some reason, Heavenly Father made it possible for us to come here to BYU-I. I can't wait for my many, many more experiences up here in Rexburg. Life is grand.
